Will turned 2!

Yes I'm way too late on this post, but here it is.

He had a fun little party, loves all his toys, and is now well practiced and ready to open gifts at Christmas. Hopefully he will only open his own. There are probably a lot of better photos, but this is the one I picked.

Jennifer is at a doctor's appointment and Will is asleep. The perfect time to accomplish this!

The sailfish we caught on our honeymoon has been hung various places over the last 13 years - Over our bed, in the guest bedroom (The Fish Room), in the living room, and for the last 5 years on the wall in the garage.

Today it has returned! Proudly displayed in our living room. This beauty, Hector, as we have named him, is over 9 feet long and weighed over 250 pounds. Yes, I managed to hang him today all by myself. Though once I got him on the wall I notice he should be about 18 inches higher, but I think he'll stay for now... until Jennifer comes home.

It was a beard then a goatie...

This is what happens when you have almost twenty years of regulations regarding facial hair and then are given a couple weeks off.

The recreational shaving doesn't always work as well as one might think.

Beach Photos

We had a great time at the beach!

Swimming
Playing in the sand
Riding bikes
Eating
Collecting shells
Boating
Playing at the park
Enjoying each other

Our first vacation as a family of three was everything we hoped for.
Our beach house was perfect and the weather was great.

Love the Ocean

We spent a week at the beach in Emerald Isle, NC. What a great time. Swimming and playing in the sand everyday, riding bikes around the island, relaxing and having a fun time.
This was our first vacation as a family of three. The beach house turned out to be a fantastic idea. The week before Labor Day is a great time to vacation. The weather and water is still great, but most of the families all have to be back in school. So it was not crowded and the rates were better.

We are even thinking about possibly returning there again. That would be a huge change for us. There are still so many places we haven't been. We would like to see them all!
